My Christmas present to C was a kayaking tour during our time in the Freycinet National Park. I chose a twilight paddle with Freycinet Adventures which had been voted 4th on the 'must-do-experiences-in-Australia' by the Nine Network. We had a perfect evening for the paddle - balmy, very little wind and a great group of people. The guides were particularly knowledgeable about the area and we both learned a lot about the history of the area as well as the flora and fauna. We paddled for about 2.5 hours in total and also stopped at Honeymoon Bay for an evening snack on the beach. It was the ideal way to spend our first night in Freycinet and we felt very privileged to watch such a magnificent sunset whilst reclining in our kayaks in the Great Oyster Bay.

What a way to end the day! |
