Canada's wine country ...

Welcome back to Canada!

Every road trip needs a few days of stopping and propping at a lakeside resort in the middle of Canada's best wine district, right?  Our time in Osoyoos was just ideal for that.  We stayed at the lovely Watermark Resort, right on Osoyoos Lake, where the water was the perfect temperature for cooling off.  The resort was beautifully appointed and super pet friendly (Abbey even had her own welcome card and bag of dog treats!)  Our apartment was fully self-contained, which meant that we were able to cook our own food each night and settle down with a glass of local wine to watch a movie or two.  During the day, we visited the local wineries, relaxed by the lake (and floated on our $4 lilos!), devoured books and took luxurious afternoon naps.  In fact, the whole trip was just so lovely that C and I are heading back there for 5 nights at the end of this month!
