The drive down the East Coast ...

Our time on the east coast of Tasmania was truly magical.  The scenery was spectacular and the weather proved not to be stereotypically Tasmanian (I swam on the east coast more than I had in the two months prior to Christmas in Sydney).  C and I were both in true holiday mode and, apart from a few pre-booked plans, had no real schedule to stick to.  We took our time getting from one place to another, stopping at many different sights on our way to Hobart ...

Not technically on the east coast but on the way to the east coast - view over Scottsdale

We took a side road somewhere near Scottsdale and found these amazing sculptures

Luckily C and I share an obsession with creeks and waterholes - such a quiet, peaceful spot
