Urban Planning Museum, Shanghai ...

Pudong buildings in the entrance way

One last post about my holiday in China.  Something I'd never done during my time living in China was visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Centre, which is on the edge of People's Park.  I was definitely missing out, because it is such a cool museum.  The highlight was definitely the HUGE scale model of Shanghai, but the photography exhibition was also excellent as was the description of the many greenery projects happening around the city in an effort to suck up the carbon emissions that are created by 22 million people in cars and on scooters.  The centre is definitely worth a visit if you're ever in Shanghai, even if it is just to appreciate the enormity of the city.
