Last August, C and I took a weekend trip to the prairies where we camped at our friends' cabin on Lake Newell. This year, we were grateful to be invited back and so made the trip out there with Abbey and a new tent (our last one got ruined when we nearly got blown away in the storm on last year's trip out there!) We had a lovely weekend, one filled with great company, good (and too much!) food and wine. Abbey had a great time as well, with many new experiences including sleeping in a tent (she loved to snuggle) and riding on a boat. I hope we'll be invited back next year!
